Issues Connecting Monitor to Xact Android App

This section will discuss how to troubleshoot some potential issues faced when connecting to the Xact app:
- Unit Not Responding - "Unit is busy"
- "Unable to Connect"
- "No Sensor Detected" Error

How to fix- Unplug Bluetooth adapter
- Disconnect the battery cables
- Close out the Xact app
- Wait ~5 minutes
- Plug in the Bluetooth adapter
- Connect the battery cables
- Make sure Bluetooth adapter is pair with Android
- Open Xact app
- Select 'Install/Modify'
Note: You may need to try this several times for it to work. If you continue to have issues, contact Xact Support.
What's Happening There is a "wake up" process to the device when connecting to it using the Xact app. The unit may be in this process and trying to connect to the satellite network while you're trying to connect. Shutting the unit down for a brief moment typically resolves the issue. |

How to fix This error typically happens when your Android device isn't paired with the Xact Bluetooth adapter. Take these steps to pair the device:- Plug Bluetooth adapter into Xact device
- Connect red and black battery cables in device.
- Verify red light is on in Bluetooth adapter. This indicates power.
- Open up Bluetooth settings on Android device.
- Turn Bluetooth "On", if not already.
- Pair device with the adapter. It should have "AIRMini" in the title.
- Press the "Search for Devices" button if you are not seeing the adapter.
- Enter PIN number. This is typically 1234
- Once paired, open Xact app. Leave adapter plugged in.
- Select "Install/Modify"

How to fix- Unplug Bluetooth adapter
- Disconnect the battery cables
- Close out the Xact app
- Wait ~5 minutes
- Plug in the Bluetooth adapter
- Connect the battery cables
- Make sure Bluetooth adapter is pair with Android
- Open Xact app
- Select 'Install/Modify
If problem persists after multiple attempts: - Detach transducer cable from battery box cable.
- Make sure pins inside cable aren't bent or damaged.
- Carefully reattach transducer / battery box cable connection.
- Repeat above steps 1-9
What's Happening There is likely an issue with the Bluetooth connection between Xact app and the monitor. There may also be a connection issue between the transducer and the battery box.
